Journey to Wholeness:
An Integrative Approach
to Psychotherapy
Life in today’s complex world leaves its mark on us… our family histories, patterns we develop, and the challenges we face all shape who we are — but they don’t have to define us as we move through our lives.
My integrative approach offers more than just clinical expertise. I bring decades of lived experience, enhanced knowledge of physiological wellness, and a deep understanding of human nature to our work together. My goal in our sessions is to nurture the whole person — mind, body, spirit and sexuality — leading to lasting benefits across all aspects of life.
How our work together
can be transformative:
Our weekly sessions will begin to illuminate your challenges and how to use your innate strengths to manage them
We can discuss any limiting patterns in physical self-care and find practical tools for change
Find clarity and insights into family-of-origin dynamics are essential — how they helped form your attachment style and sense of self, and their ongoing influence
Identify the connection between your emotional and physical aspects, understand how they work in tandem, and learn to optimize their connection.
Traditional psychotherapy — "talk therapy" — creates and fosters a collaborative dialogue. Studies have proven that the best predictor of therapy’s efficacy is the “fit” — the rapport between the client and therapist. I strive to be a compassionate and insightful guide, to help you look inward to explore and identify feelings and thoughts.
Mind
Body
The wellness of your physical body can have a profound effect on emotional and psychological well-being, and vice versa. Our sessions may include discussions about physical self-care, including nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress management and sexual functioning.
Human beings have a primal spiritual need to feel connected to one another —we all want to feel safe, to feel heard, to feel understood and loved. Our therapeutic relationship will serve as a pathway for you to explore these aspects of your life experience, and how they impact your overall sense of self and resilience.
Spirit
Sexuality
The relationship with your body, and the ability to give and receive sensual pleasure (to ourselves or others), are an important aspect of our wellness. Together we’ll identify ways to gently explore feelings about your sensual and sexual self, including all aspects of sexuality and erotic expression.
